Is Village in the Shade available in Spanish?

Yes. The publisher’s platform information lists Spanish among the Western console text languages. The current Steam entry lists Spanish - Spain, alongside the other supported languages.

The official Steam language additions arrived on October 27, 2026. Older discussions asking whether Spanish will be added describe an earlier state of the game and should not override the current list.

Does this confirm Spanish voice acting?

No. A text-language listing is not evidence of a Spanish voice track. Check the interface, subtitles, and audio columns separately when the storefront provides them. This page does not claim a Latin American Spanish option merely because Steam’s own website can be viewed in that language.

How should you select Spanish?

Set the game’s language before creating the save you plan to play. The official Steam notice says display language is stored per save and cannot be changed through an in-game switch after launch.

On a console, confirm the exact regional edition. Do not transfer PC mod instructions to a Nintendo or PlayStation copy.

What about translating the game title?

The English product title remains Village in the Shade in the references checked here. A literal rendering such as “aldea en la sombra” explains the phrase; it is not evidence that the publisher adopted that as a localized product name.

Search the original product title when looking for the correct store entry, official announcements, or technical support. The cover contains Japanese promotional text, and the trailer is an English general reference; neither is presented as a demonstration of the Spanish interface.
