Where do you catch Yamame Trout?

Raider King’s October 25 guide documents Mountain Foot Fishing Spot for Yoh’s request. Its screenshots distinguish that area from the initial village fishing location.

Third-party English-language launch-day gameplay used as general reference for the 2026 original game. It is not a dedicated tutorial or proof of a particular location, setting, route, or patch behavior.

Cover context: Official riverbank screenshot; general fishing context, not a verified Yamame spawn or catch.

The reported route is to give Kisuke an errand coupon, receive the pickaxe, and break the large rock near the forest Hunting Lodge. Follow the opened path to the fishing spot, catch the requested fish, and bring it back to Yoh. The author reports that bait is optional rather than a guaranteed requirement.

The guide observes a four-input catch during spring, but that is not a universal identifier: it says Catfish can use the same number of inputs. Verify the item name after landing the fish.

What if the path is still blocked?

Check whether you have completed the relevant errand and are attempting the rock shown by the route. A tool in your bag does not mean that every blocked path in the game is ready to open. Match the landmarks and request dialogue instead of treating another rock as interchangeable.

Keep the exact fish and spot labels visible in your notes. The English launch and older Japanese guide terminology can differ, so the screenshots and nearby Hunting Lodge are useful context.

How should you prepare?

Leave room in your inventory, keep the requested catch rather than selling it, and avoid bringing an entire day’s unrelated errands into the same trip. If you use bait, note where it was placed; do not interpret one unsuccessful cast as proof that the spot is wrong.

What does this page not establish?

It does not supply an exact bite probability, a complete all-season spawn table, or a claim that button count uniquely identifies Yamame. The cover and general gameplay video are illustrative; the location steps are attributed to the written screenshot guide rather than presented as our own hands-on test.
