What counts as a house upgrade?

Decorating an interior, purchasing furniture, renovating a building, and expanding farmland are different tasks. The official overview confirms buying furniture and creating a home, but it should not be expanded into an invented sequence of house levels and prices.

For a specific building order, use the materials and completion information displayed in your current game. Record those details before setting aside resources. A screenshot of a furnished room does not reveal the cost of every item in it.

How does the Furniture Catalog help?

The official Steam announcements describe the Furniture Catalog introduced with Free Update #1. The stated prerequisites include reaching the first autumn and purchasing qualifying furniture. The notes also warn that certain story scenes or rainy weather can prevent the handover event from playing that day.

After obtaining it, the catalog supports ordering furniture already purchased, with delivery through the mailbox. It is not a way to assume that every furniture item is immediately unlocked.

Is farmland expansion the same unlock?

No. The update has separate additional-farmland conditions, including progression that differs by mode. Use the existing patch guide for those prerequisites rather than assuming that receiving the catalog also grants a field.

How should you plan a project?

Keep the current order’s materials separate from sale goods, leave accessible paths around buildings, and choose a manageable project before buying decorative extras. These are organization suggestions, not a demonstrated optimal build.

Check letters and the next available event after meeting an unlock condition. If a feature is absent, compare your mode, patch, and story progress before spending resources on a supposed workaround. No fixed renovation day or refund rule is asserted here.
